与式にx=0,y=0,z=0をそれぞれ代入して考えると、それぞれにの平面において切り口は円(対称性でy,zは一緒)
一応、求める体積Vは
V=π∫[-B〜B] [{A+√(B^2-x^2)}^2-{A-√(B^2-x^2}^2]dx [A=(a+b)/2,B=(a-b)/2とおいてる]
=2AB^2π^2
=[{(a+b)(a-b)^2}π^2]/4

今回は得意な英語でいきますw

Read the following passage, and then answer the questions.

TV: (1)[Some say it’s Terribly Violent, while others say it’s Totally Valuable.]
Television became popular in the 1950s.
In the time that has passed, civil rights have become more equal, drug use has increased, the number of women attending college has increased. Did television cause all of these events?
(2)[Answering “absolutely” to this question may be a stretch,] but many people argue that television did have a big influence on these changes and that it continues to influence American life.
Watching television is America’s third most popular pastime activity ―(3)[it falls in line right behind sleeping and working.]
Television is also the primary source of news for most Americans ― instead of opening up a newspaper, we flip on the TV. Instead of reading in black and white about the murder at a local convenience store, we may actually see the murder committed on screen from the comfort of our living rooms. Violence is something society deems unacceptable, yet each time we turn on our television sets, we are bound to see characters on shows (and real people on the local news) beating others up, thrusting guns in the faces of bank tellers or murdering innocent human beings.
We even watch cartoon characters like Tweety and Sylvester or Kenny and the Southpark gang endlessly hurt one another.

Some believe this constant exposure to violence may make Americans callous to the true horror of violence.
Whether or not you believe TV actually makes people more violent, it is important to understand the influence TV may have on you and those around you.
More than 1,000 studies have shown a link between violence in the media and aggressive behavior among those who are exposed to it.
In a 1993 report, the American Psychological Association said, “There is absolutely no doubt that higher levels of viewing violence on television are correlated with increasing acceptance of aggressive attitude and increased
aggressive behavior.
Other people who argue that TV is a negative influence on children and teenagers say that it prevents families from spending time doing other things together.
Of course, it is easier to stick your little brother and sisters in front of the TV to watch Barney than to get them to stop fighting.

However, turning on little Bobby and Suzy’s favorite program does not really teach them any lessons about conflict resolution.
Author and children’s advocate Marie Winn says that family members would be better off talking and playing with each other.
Doing so helps children better develop character, self-esteem and social skills.
The fact that watching Dawson’s Creek is an activity you might rather do than playing Monopoly with your family does not necessarily mean that you find Dawson’s Creek more satisfying than spending time with your family ― but watching TV is easier.
Some experts think choosing TV time over family time can have a negative influence on family relationships.
It may even make your parents or siblings feel rejected.
Chances are you have heard adults say that teenagers and even young kids these days are so uncivilized.
The same people who argue that TV takes away from family bonding, argue that this less civilized, more violent behavior is due to the influence of TV.
So what should we do? Marie Winn believes that teaching children to play alone while the adults take care of things around the house (like washing the dishes or balancing the
checkbook) is a process in which the parent establishes himself or herself as an authority figure ― an important lesson later in life when children are forced to deal with other authority figures.

Some people argue that using television to occupy kids while the adults take care of necessary tasks establishes a different kind of relationship between parents and children, one in which the parent never uses a firm tone.
In a way, the TV may become the authority and parents may one day discover that their teenagers do not know the best ways to handle authority.
If parents and guardians have never established a position of authority, students are less likely to view a teacher or a boss as an authority and may be more likely to take part in dangerous activities such as drug use or
violence.
While TV may not have caused a teenager’s violent behavior, it may have had an influence on that behavior.
On the other side of the argument are those individuals who say that TV is really not so bad.
Many believe that it has made people more aware of problems like violence and inequality.
Television shows us problems and allows us to make social changes.
This is a positive influence of TV on American life. Some people claim that the media, especially TV, is the best critic of society. With so many people watching (4)[the tube,] it seems the ideal place to bring social issues to our attention.
In essence, a benefit of TV is that it can improve our culture by showing us what state our culture is in.

While exposure to our own culture may indeed be a positive way to look at TV, it is clearly up to the individual to choose how he or she will react to what is on TV.
If repeatedly watching the news teaches me that there is a hunger problem, it is up to me to decide that I will donate part of my next paycheck to a local foodbank.
If people are aware of the influence TV has on them, good and bad, then each individual has the power to make a difference in the future.
Professor of communications Henry Perkinson believes that improvement is all up to us.
This author of Getting Better: Television and Moral Progress, says: “We must continue to be critical of our culture, and, for this to happen, we must continue to speak, continue to write,
continue to read, and continue to watch television.”
